WaterAid in Bangladesh has been offering training fellowship on Urban Rainwater Harvesting System (URWSH) in collaboration with CSE, India. The course has been designed for civil engineers, architects, urban planners, environment consultants, policy makers, and NGO personnel interested in learning about theory, practice and policies of rainwater harvesting.
The major objectives of the training fellowships are:
• To establish a resource pool and network of trainers comprising of sector professionals and to promote innovation in rainwater harvesting;
• To enhance sector capacity by establishing partnership with sector actors and to promote technological knowledge transfer to meet water scarcity through strengthening multi-sectoral approach and stakeholders’ participation;
WaterAid in Bangladesh has already trained 62 fellows in two batches under this training fellowship. Our next training batch will be announced later.

Educational Session for students!!
Please register for educational session on rainwater harvesting which will be held on the 17th June 2012 at ITN-BUET, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
o All Participants must register to ensure participation in the session.
o All Participants must be ‘post graduate’ student from reputed universities.
o Registration fee must be paid to the below address in CASH.
o Please collect the invoice slip as the session entry pass.
o Participants from abroad are requested to do SPOT Registration paying CASH and collection of invoice slip as the session entry pass.
