Bangladesh Convention on Rainwater Harvesting 2012
We, the participants of the ‘Bangladesh Convention on Rainwater Harvesting 2012’ held in Dhaka on 15-16 June 2012 organized by WaterAid in Bangladesh in collaboration with Institute of Water Management (IWM), Rain Forum, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), India have agreed to the following declaration and call upon the Government of Bangladesh, civil society, academic institutions, private sector and important stakeholders to favourably look into the merit of the call. The convention had five business sessions where 19 papers were presented and debated. This Dhaka Declaration is based on these deliberations including the inaugural session.
